NDP Competitive & Development Squads
Alton Gymnastics Club have built a solid reputation for competitive and performance gymnastics at County and Regional level following the National Development Plan in a variety of gymnastics disciplines and developing a high standard across the board.
Alton Gymnasts enjoy success at Grading events, local friendly competitions, County Competitions and many have qualified for and competed at Regional Finals.
Our NDP Development programs are open to gymnasts who show potential for competitive gymnastics and are designed to equip them with the specific skills needed in each discipline.
Places in our NDP Squads and Development Programs are reviewed each year during the second part of the Spring term with any changes coming into effect in the Summer Term. This is to provide a structure to ensure gymnasts continue to meet the requirements for ongoing progression and to therefore establish the most appropriate pathway for each gymnast. At this time we may suggest a different discipline, a change to an alternative program or to remain on the pathway they are on.
At Alton we carefully select the disciplines which we believe will constitute a varied and enriching program for our members.
